February Events & RSVP Links:

📍 Feb 4 – Soho Pool House (Soho Members)

• Format: Chouette-style tournament (register on the Soho House app)

• What’s Chouette? It’s a French-style team game where multiple players compete together in a rotating format. Instead of a one-on-one match, one player (the “box”) plays against a team (the “crew”), making it interactive, social, and strategic. Perfect for meeting new people while keeping the game dynamic and fun! This is our first time doing chouette, so we’ll be teaching everyone as we go. If you want to prepare ahead of time read the article below on chouette style.

📍 Feb 15 – The Standard Hotel (Open to all – RSVP )

• Format: Casual play—come for the game, stay for the vibes.

Lover’s Leap Cocktail included with ticket

In backgammon, Lover’s Leap refers to a move where a checker jumps from the opponent’s home board (the 24-point) all the way to the midpoint (the 13-point) in a single roll, often using a 6-5 combination.

📍 Feb 26 – The Moore (Members-Only, Limited MBS Spots Available)

• Format: Casual play in a beautiful setting. MBS members will be able to secure a spot through eventbrite. Spots will open Feb 19th.
